Revolutionary Craft Reading Group

  • Tamarack 1501 Harrison Street Oakland, CA, 94611 (map)

POSTPONED: Moved from Oct 2 to Oct 9 due to illness. Thank you for your understanding!

Join us for the first ever session of the Revolutionary Craft Reading Group! This group is open, so please join us! If possible, please try to finish the reading ahead of the meeting so we can maximize our discussion time. We will begin with the first essay from Soetsu Yanagi’s The Beauty of Everyday Things: “What is Folk Craft?” and then discuss and decide on the next reading.

We will meet upstairs at Tamarack from 6:30 - 8:30 pm on the first Wednesday of the month. Tamarack will be open and serving food and drinks in case you want a snack or beverage!

If you need a copy of the reading, links are below.
