DARNING

Should any of the stitches in your sweater wear thin, you can use the Swiss Darn to reinforce or repair the area. The Swiss Darn mimics the knit stitch directly on top of the original stitch. This allows for a less noticeable repair than a standard darn, which creates a woven structure instead of a knit one. It is fairly simple, and only requires a large, blunt-tipped sewing needle and thread or yarn in the same weight as that used in the garment you wish to repair.
